Beginning Violin

A traditional based program that builds the foundations of violin playing. Using the Essential Elements method book 1, basic concepts of note reading, posture, rhythm, and listening skills are explored. Must have violin before first class meeting. Violin rental available. 12 weeks. $240, plus materials. 

No classes the week of Thanksgiving, Monday 11/19 to Saturday 11/24.

Beginning Viola

A traditional- based program that builds the foundations of viola playing. Using the Essential Elements method book 1, students will learn the basic concepts of note reading, posture, rhythm, and ensemble playing. Additional materials, such as handouts and packets, will be provided by the teacher to help improve rhythm and note reading. This class is intended for students who have little to no playing experience. Must have a viola before the first class meeting. Viola rental available. 12 weeks. $240, plus materials.
