Piano Teacher Workshop featuring E. L. Lancaster

Alfred Music Publishing Company and AMUSE Music Center will host a Piano Teacher Workshop featuring E. L. Lancaster at AMUSE on Friday, July, 22. Registration is at 8:30; the clinic is from 9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

From 1979 until 1998, Dr. Lancaster was Professor of Music at the University of Oklahoma, Norman, where he taught courses in piano pedagogy and coordinated the group piano program. He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Murray (KY) State University and the University of Illinois and a Ph.D. from Northwestern University. Currently he is Keyboard Editor-in-Chief at Alfred.

Dr. Lancaster has authored and/or edited Alfred’s Music for Little Mozart, Premier Piano Course and Group Piano for Adults series in addition to numerous other books for private and group piano instruction.

AMUSE welcomes all private and group piano teachers to explore the newest and most innovative resources to help keep you and your students motivated and energized. You will receive a free Alfred Music publication at this workshop.
